The Warehouse Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move load and unload products within the warehouse

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Forklift certification preferred; on the job training provided

No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of similar work experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other equipment to transport materials.

Load and unload trucks and trailers safely.

Move inventory to designated storage areas and maintain organization.

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.

Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking packing and cycle counting.

Use computer reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved

Load materials and/or buggies into trailers and/or trucks

Install strapping or chains to prevent shifting or damage while in transit

Print necessary labels and manifests

Perform janitorial duties such as emptying trash cans cleaning restrooms and scrubbing floors
