Job Summary
The AWS Global Expansion team is seeking a Global Expansion this role you will plan and execute market entry strategy problem solve for complex initiatives related to geographic expansion and support with optimizing operational efficiency in existing countries. To do so you will develop corporate entity strategy driving technical and non-technical cross-functional stakeholders to ensure AWS can continue to operate efficiently and compliantly in new and existing addition to supporting AWS Infrastructure Services you will also work across other AWS business lines including sales services and supply chain in response to business needs and regulatory changes.
Our Global Expansion Managers have project management experience strong judgment technical aptitude for creating scalable processes a disposition toward continuous learning an interest in developing market entry strategies a passion for navigating ambiguity and the ability to deep dive across a wide range of topics and stakeholders.
Your role responsibilities include:
Lead and advise a set of cross-functional teams including Tax Legal Accounting Treasury Finance Operations Product Engineering HR Public Policy among others to drive the global expansion of AWS.
Execute multiple time-sensitive large-scale projects to meet business objectives in defined project timeframes.
Identify drive and develop best practices technical solutions process efficiencies and project workflows.
Own project management and problem solving for compliance and risk related issues.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global other words were the people who keep the cloud running. - 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
