Our client is recruiting a specialist Road Traffic Law Solicitor to defend clients across a wide range of motoring offences including dangerous driving careless driving drink/drug driving speeding mobile phone offences licence revocations failure to furnish and technical procedural challenges.
You will analyse technical evidence such as ANPR data speed detection device calibration toxicology reports and police procedures identifying procedural errors and building strong defences. You will attend Magistrates Court hearings prepare mitigation draft submissions challenge evidence negotiate with the CPS and support clients who may be facing significant personal and professional consequences.
The role requires the ability to work under time pressure handle urgent instructions and deliver clear reassuring legal guidance.
Qualified Solicitor with motoring/road traffic law expertise
Strong Magistrates Court advocacy experience
Ability to interpret technical and scientific evidence
Excellent drafting and communication skills
Strong negotiation and client-handling abilities
Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload with urgent deadlines

About You At least 12 months experience working in a residential conveyancing department (essential). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience using conveyancing case management software (desirable).
