Position: Design Lead w/m/d (18-month FTC with option for extension)
Location:Heidelberg Germany(Officepresenceexpected at minimum 2 days per week)
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Design Lead/Senior Art Director who has a passion for visual storytelling and extensive experience working with agencies. Your expertise will be crucial in developing innovative concepts and executing them on digital and social platforms. Comprehensive proficiency in using leading AI tools to enhance creativity and optimize processes is essential for this position.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the development of creative concepts for digital and social media campaigns in collaboration with copywriters and teams from various departments.
- Utilize industry-leading AI tools to enhance the creation of visual content and improve workflow efficiency.
- Design and produce engaging visual content that aligns with strategic objectives and brand guidelines.
- Conduct brainstorming sessions and bring in new perspectives as well as creative solutions.
- Develop and deliver sophisticated presentations to clearly communicate visual strategies to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay at the forefront of current design trends digital innovations and advancements in AI to optimize creative work.
- Support and mentor junior team members fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality visual outcomes.
- Organize the management of multiple complex projects to ensure their timely completion and alignment with brand objectives.
What you need to be great in this role:
- An impressive portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and creative design skills.
- Proficiency in English is required and having German skills at a B2 level would be an advantage.
- Extensive experience in digital and agency environments with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Proficient in using design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite and modern AI technologies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills coupled with the ability to inspire and lead a creative team.
- Independent working style while promoting team collaboration.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on excellence and innovation.
- Please note its a 18-month Contract with the option for extension
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the FMCG industry.
- Expertise in multi-market campaigns.
- Award-winning projects in your portfolio.
