Program Overview - Independent Contractors
We are seeking skilled web developers to support the ongoing maintenance updates and optimization of our organizational website. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented responsive and experienced in working within established design systems and CMS platforms.

WoodGreen engages third-party vendors to support staff on projects on an as needed basis and eager to gather a list of pre-screened vendors to be added to our vendor list.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update content pages and features on WoodGreens website (built on WordPress).

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure website performance accessibility and security.

  • Implement design and functionality updates in collaboration with the Communications and IT teams.

  • Optimize pages for user experience SEO and mobile responsiveness.

  • Support the integration of digital tools analytics and plugins as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing and developing WordPress websites (or similar CMS platforms).

  • Strong understanding of front-end development (HTML CSS JavaScript PHP basics).

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 SEO best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with nonprofit or public-sector websites is an asset.
