Program Overview - Independent Contractors
We are seeking skilled web developers to support the ongoing maintenance updates and optimization of our organizational website. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented responsive and experienced in working within established design systems and CMS platforms.
WoodGreen engages third-party vendors to support staff on projects on an as needed basis and eager to gather a list of pre-screened vendors to be added to our vendor list.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update content pages and features on WoodGreens website (built on WordPress).
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure website performance accessibility and security.
Implement design and functionality updates in collaboration with the Communications and IT teams.
Optimize pages for user experience SEO and mobile responsiveness.
Support the integration of digital tools analytics and plugins as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing and developing WordPress websites (or similar CMS platforms).
Strong understanding of front-end development (HTML CSS JavaScript PHP basics).
Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 SEO best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with nonprofit or public-sector websites is an asset.
