Job Summary

Performance / EV / Innovations Manager Canterbury VIC
Major National Infrastructure Delivery Partner (Water Projects)

A leading Tier 1 contractor is expanding its project delivery team and is seeking a Performance / EV / Innovations Manager to support a large-scale water infrastructure program in Melbournes eastern region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysis forecasting reporting and improving business systems across a complex multi-stakeholder framework.

About the Role

You will play a key role in tracking project performance supporting earned value assessments and ensuring reporting accuracy across the framework. The position also manages compliance requirements oversees monthly forecasts provides insights to senior leaders and coordinates innovation submissions. A portion of this role includes managing project data through internal systems and supporting external audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse project performance metrics and prepare monthly forecast assessments
Manage EV data including planned vs actual expenditure
Develop resource forecasting and workload analysis
Submit monthly financial and performance reports
Support compliance requirements across state government policies (VIPP BEP FJC MPSG)
Review and maintain internal rate calculations
Coordinate innovations reporting across the program
Assist direct reports with project data collation and system updates



Requirements

Background in Finance Business or related discipline
Strong Excel capability (advanced formulas modelling)
Skilled in Power BI data visualisation
Understanding of earned value management (EV)
Ability to interpret financial and project performance data
Strong attention to detail communication and reporting skills
