The Lead Process Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the Rotor Assembly and Repair processes for key product lines. This role involves managing and establishing processes to ensure timely repair of rotor components for customer delivery. The Lead Process Engineer will be instrumental in defining and managing the inspection and repair plans for rotors as well as collaborating with engineering teams to develop optimal repair strategies. Additionally the role requires effective communication with customers and customer teams to provide technical explanations of repairs and processes. The Lead Process Engineer will also coordinate with vendors to ensure repairs are completed to achieve timeline requirements in accordance with production schedule. A key aspect of the role involves leading continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing the cycle time and improving quality of rotor assembly and repair operations.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee manage and establish processes for the timely and efficient repair of rotor components to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Own the definition and implementation of inspection and repair plans for rotors.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to develop define and optimize repair strategies.
- Work with repair engineering to develop 7HA repair procedures and standards.
- Act as the shop repair technical leader training and mentoring the rest of the process engineering team.
- Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing cycle time efficiency and quality
- Communicate technical details and explanations of repairs and processes to customers (internal/external) and customer teams.
- Partner with operations team and external vendors to ensure repair processes are completed on schedule.
- Create maintain and standardize work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process control
- Act as liaison between repair engineering and production
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Quality

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $81700.00 and $136700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
