Environmental Health & Safety Lead

Were seeking a self-driven and capable EHS professional to take full ownership of Environmental Health & Safety at our growing dairy manufacturing facility. This is a standalone role ideal for someone with solid EHS experience whos ready to step into a leadership position run a tight program and drive real impact on the ground.
This is not just about compliance its about building a culture of safety and accountability in a fast-paced environment where every detail counts.
Key Responsibilities
Own all EHS compliance across the plant (OSHA DOH EPA DEC etc.)
Conduct regular safety audits risk assessments and incident investigations
Design and deliver training programs to drive safety awareness and accountability
Ensure SOPs are aligned with safety standards and updated regularly
Track and report on key safety metrics (incidents near misses etc.)
Serve as point of contact during inspections and audits
Collaborate with plant leadership to improve safety protocols and foster a proactive safety culture
Who You Are
25 years of EHS experience in food production manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong working knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards
Hands-on confident and comfortable operating independently
Organized detail-oriented and willing to take initiative
Strong communicator who can influence teams and promote a safety-first mindset
