We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to work in Bowie MD supporting our client.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The SLP will evaluate diagnose and treat individuals with communication speech language voice cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations while providing high-quality patient-centered care across various clinical settings

Schedule:Part-time. 25-30 Hours
Pay: $42- $45 based on experience

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication language speech voice and swallowing needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.

  • Provide therapy to improve functional communication swallowing safety and overall quality of life.

  • Monitor and document patient progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

  • Educate patients families and caregivers on home strategies compensatory techniques and therapy goals.

  • Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists educators and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Current and active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

  • Strong communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Dedication to providing high-quality patient-focused care.
