Job Summary
Entry Level Maintenance Repairer Helper
Special Metals Corporation is seeking candidates for our Maintenance Repairer and Electronic Repairer apprentice programs at our Dunkirk NY facility. Candidates must pass an entry level basic skills exam to be eligible. Electronic program candidates must have prior electrical experience and/or training. All candidates must be available to work any shift at a 24 hour facility. A high school diploma is required. Program duration is 2 years. Ideal candidates have a desire to work in heavy industry and repair hydraulic systems overhead cranes gas furnaces and mechanical drive systems. Helpers will receive hands on training mentorship and classroom instruction to advance to Maintenance Repairer or Electronic Repairer upon completion of the program.
