Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician (MD) to join our Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center. The physician will provide comprehensive internal medicine services within an open access/medical home care model collaborating with a multidisciplinary patient care team to ensure high-quality care. Essential Functions:Deliver preventative acute and chronic care for patients assigned to your panel and support other providers patients during high-volume periods or general medical examinations for routine acute and chronic conditions across all organ preventive health and maintenance care including physicals immunizations and patient education on positive health all outpatient and inpatient encounters accurately in the EMR system in accordance with Army regulations and FHC treat and manage patients with complex conditions including diabetes hypertension asthma arthritis and medications per protocols educate patients on proper use and side effects and maintain accurate evaluate and interpret radiology and laboratory tests; refer to specialty clinics as prescription renewals and telephonic consultative and provide guidance to other healthcare providers including nurses nurse practitioners and physician in professional development staff meetings in-service training and other duties as :Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school; foreign medical graduates must have ECFMG of accredited post-graduate medical training (internship and residency) in Internal Certified or Board Eligible in Internal unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S. Puerto Rico Guam or the U.S. Virgin unrestricted DEA of one year of experience within the last three years as a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) in English both written and of computer operations and proficiency in word processing data entry and electronic medical Youll Love This Role:MondayFriday schedule no nights weekends or to manage patient care in a supportive patients are fully insured focus on care not salary full benefits PTO CME allowance and 11 paid federal holidays.
