Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - AWS Cloud & Container Infrastructure Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud & Container Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize our container-based infrastructure hosted on AWS. This role will also be responsible for day-to-day AWS resource management ensuring high availability scalability and security across our cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
Container Infrastructure Management
oDesign deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed clusters).
oImplement CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
oMonitor and optimize container performance resource utilization and cost efficiency.
AWS Cloud Administration
oManage core AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS VPC IAM CloudWatch and EBS.
oPerform routine maintenance patching and upgrades for AWS resources.
oImplement backup disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.
Security & Compliance
oEnforce best practices for IAM roles policies and least privilege access.
oEnsure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
oSet up monitoring and alerting for AWS and container workloads.
oTroubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
Automation & Optimization
oDevelop automation scripts using Terraform CloudFormation or similar tools.
oOptimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Technical Expertise
oStrong experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS VPC IAM CloudWatch).
oHands-on experience with container technologies (Docker Kubernetes/EKS).
oProficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
oFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Programming & Scripting
oKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
Security & Networking
oUnderstanding of AWS networking (VPC subnets security groups).
oExperience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.
Soft Skills
oStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
oExcellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or Datadog.
Familiarity with container security tools and practices.
