Campaign Director (Temporary 5-Year Term with Possible Extension)
Lead a Transformative $15M Campaign

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organization and the communities we serve.
Position Overview
As Campaign Director you will spearhead the active solicitation phase to achieve a $3 million goal by June 2026 while building industry-standard campaign infrastructure systems and policies all working to lay the groundwork to achieve our $15 million campaign within five years. This temporary position is for the 5-year duration of the campaign with the possibility of extension. You will report to the Chief Strategy & Advancement Officer and work in close partnership with the Sr. Director of Development the Development team the Executive Director Board and cross-functional teams to ensure campaign momentum and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Fundraising & Solicitation:
- Develop and lead the solicitation strategy to secure $3 million in new campaign commitments by June 2026 including at least $1.5 million in cash.
- Establish and meet clear performance metrics for prospect visits dollars solicited and dollars raised.
- Lead and administer the Moves Management process for major donors developing systems to support donor engagement beyond the campaign.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve 100% Board participation in campaign fundraising.
- Campaign Infrastructure & Data Management:
- Design refine and implement campaign-specific systems policies and protocols in coordination with development and finance teams.
- Create and execute a comprehensive prospect management and pipeline plan.
- Ensure accurate and timely data capture for gifts pledges prospects and moves management in our donor database (Patron Manager/Salesforce).
- Manage the campaign timeline monitor progress against established metrics and oversee campaign-related expenditures.
- Committee Management & Communications:
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Campaign Committee preparing agendas minutes and coordinating communications and follow-up.
- Support committee members in making direct solicitation asks.
- Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to establish and implement the campaign communications plan.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or CFRE certification strongly preferred.
- 710 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience with demonstrated success managing multi-year multi-million-dollar campaigns.
- Proven track record of personally soliciting and closing six- and seven-figure gifts.
- Experience supporting senior leadership and high-level volunteers (Board Campaign Committee) in fundraising activities.
- Expertise in developing and managing campaign infrastructure budgets and data systems preferred.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive collaborative and mission-driven work environment.
