As a Wildland Fire Dispatcher you will play a pivotal role in coordinating resources and information for both Initial Attack and Logistics operations depending on fire activity and staffing needs. This seasonal position is ideal for students teachers or winter sports enthusiasts allowing you to serve your community during the summer while enjoying winters free to pursue your passions. Successful completion of a course of training under a formally established Wildland Fire Dispatcher 1 training plan with the State of Alaska.
OR
Certification from the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) as an Expanded Dispatch Recorder (EDRC)
And
Additional NWCG certification aseither: Expanded Dispatch Support Dispatcher (EDSD) or Initial Attack Dispatcher (IADP)
And
Any combination of education training and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in

Supplemental Questions
For your application to be evaluated you must answer the Supplemental Questions. Copies of transcripts are required to verify educational credentials if used to meet the minimum qualifications for a position.
