Qualifications

RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification required.
Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate in Respiratory Therapy.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered respiratory care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures while monitoring patients on invasive/noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
Conduct patient assessments including breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressure.
Administer therapies such as oxygen aerosols and chest physiotherapy.
Assist with airway placement and ventilator management.
Respond to emergencies ensuring airway integrity.
Transport ventilator-dependent patients safely within the facility.
