The OCI Security Products team is focused on ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is the safest and most reliable environment for development we can provide to our customers. We keep up with the constantly evolving and challenging cyber-threat landscape by developing novel ML/AI-based solutions and products to prevent and mitigate cyber-attacks on OCI.
We are looking for top notch applied scientists who are passionate about security and cloud technologies to join the OCI Security Analytics & Machine Learning team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is looking to drive innovation by developing AI/ML solution in the security domain area leveraging Petabytes of data of our Security Data Platform. You will be responsible for working with cross functional teams including core OCI Security Security Operations OCI AI team and Product Management. You will be working on expanding our platform to include an AI LLM agentic framework able to support next generation functionality for data analysis and retrieval advanced security detections and alert triaging.
Responsibilities
- Show initiative and enthusiasm in tackling challenging problems with innovative AI solutions
- Work closely with security experts to build behavioral models for the latest cybersecurity threats
- Develop ML models and AI LLM workflows applicable to large datasets of a hyper-scaler
- Work closely with software engineers to drive real-time inference and alerting solutions
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in developing AI/ML solutions for production services
- Experience in transforming an ML idea from a successful prototype to full scale cloud solution
- Expert knowledge in all foundational supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods
- Design experiment and evaluate highly innovative models for anomaly detection
- Establish scalable efficient automated processes for large scale data analyses model development model validation and model implementation
- Practical knowledge of applying AI LLM agentic frameworks in production
- Used TensorFlow PyTorch or equivalent ML toolkit
- Solid programming skills in Java or C#/C and experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Experience with R and/or other statistical packages
- Experience with Big Data tools/pipelines: Hadoop (Pig Hive) Spark or other Big Data systems
- Strong publication record is a plus
- BS or MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
ResponsibilitiesInteracts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs algorithms and automated processes to cleanse integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product service and business managers.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
