Key Deliverables:
WIRE DRAWING
Operating a twin wire drawing machine Converting of any specific sizes/ wire rods of Aluminum /Aluminum alloy to the required small sizes in spools/baskets in a wire drawing machine
- Follow the safety rules and regulations as per the company policy.
- Proper loading of coils /wire rods in pay-off stands and do cold pressure welding techniques of wire rods.
- Operation of Overhead crane & forklift for the movement of coils baskets & drums
- Maintaining housekeeping
- Minimum operating costs.
- Proper selection of dies proper keeping the wire drawing machine in clean and good condition
STRANDING
- Operating any size of wire stranding machine to produce overhead line / cable conductors and with any new Specifications.
- Proper loading of wires baskets/ in bobbins of stranding
- Proper setting the conductors as per the CMS in stranding machine
- Proper positioning the lay / lay directions in each cage
- Loading the take-up drums and operating the machine to produce conductors.
- Proper unloading the finished conductors and proper tagging.
- Cold pressure & butt-welding techniques of wires
- Operating the Overhead line conductor machines as per works instruction & keeping proper record in the logbook
- Operation of Overhead crane & forklift for the movement of coils baskets & drums.
- Operation of Overhead crane & forklift for the movement of baskets & drums.
- Operator will work on a shift basis working overtime as and when required.
- Maintain good attendance record & follow all company rules and regulations.
- The Operator must highlight any product or material defect/non-conformances to the Supervisor / Engineer.
- Follow safety quality system procedure practices and maintain the housekeeping of workplace as pe OAPIL IMS and OAPIL HSE Standard.
- Management/Team leader/Direct Line report can assign you any related task as deemed fit in process operation area in order to enhance the operating skills and reserves the right to transfer you other departments when needed to develop multitasking.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/High School with experience in a conductor Manufacturing Company
- 3-4 Years experience in conductor line process.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Ability to independently set the Machines Machine operation and Computer entry.
- Proficient in English language (read write & speak).
- Technically very competent Skilled in conductor operation
- Knowledgeable in conductor manufacturing machines and able to produce conductors.
- Overhead crane operation process.
- Rod / Wire welding skills.
- Creative thinking in order to optimize the productivity.
Experience:
- 3 years of similar experience in related industries within Middle East.
