They offer a collaborative entrepreneurial environment with room to grow and shape the direction of the audit service line.Job Description
- Lead and review 401(k) and other ERISA plan audits in accordance with ERISA GAAP and relevant AICPA standards
- Develop and execute audit plans testing procedures and documentation for defined contribution plans
- Manage client relationships fieldwork and deliverables across multiple concurrent engagements
- Coordinate with internal teams and wealth management partners to ensure cohesive client service
- Identify opportunities to expand the retirement plan audit client base and participate in business development efforts
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on ERISA and plan audit requirements
- Help build out methodology templates and best practices for the ERISA audit practice
Qualifications
- Active CPA license
- 5 years of audit experience with a strong focus on 401(k) and ERISA plan audits
- Proven track record managing audits from planning through completion
- Strong understanding of ERISA DOL rules and GAAP as applied to benefit plan audits
- Comfortable interfacing with clients third-party administrators and internal stakeholders
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis metro area
