Job Summary
Ocala Health is a seeking an experienced cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery Candidates:Prior cardiac experience requiredProficient in vein harvesting (EVH and open) requiredJoin two cardiothoracic surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers 80% of time spent in hospital / 20% in clinic Hospital work focused on inpatient rounding consults discharges some ICU & surgeryFirst assist in procedures Share call with Advanced Practice Providers Must be NCCPA board certifiedPractice specializes in the latest minimally invasive cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical techniques (mitral valve repair thoracic aortic aneurysm repair TAVR)Incentive/Benefits Package:This is an employed opportunity through HCA Physician Services Group which offers:Competitive compensationGreat comprehensive and flexible benefits programPTO and CME time / allowanceOccurrence-based malpracticeStrong support system
