Job Summary

Project Manager Senior

OM Group Inc. is hiring a Senior Task Order Project Manager a pivotal leadership role responsible for the overall management and execution of our DoD contract. This position acts as the primary liaison with government stakeholders ensuring that all deliverables schedules and team coordination meet the highest standards of performance and compliance. The manager may also contribute directly to technical development efforts as needed.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact with the Government for all contract matters
Oversee contract performance deliverables schedules and stakeholder coordination
Lead cross-functional technical teams and ensure alignment with DoD program management processes
Contribute as a member of the development team as needed
Ensure effective communication planning and organizational practices
Employ management tools and methodologies consistent with Program Management Professional (PMP) Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Agile DevSecOps principles ensuring effective integration of project planning risk management and performance tracking

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of program or project management experience with at least 5 years related to DoD Military or US Government projects
Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
Strong understanding of DoD program management processes and reporting requirements
Effective communication planning and organizational skills
Proximity to the National Capital Region for occasional onsite work
IAT Level II Certification (e.g. Security)
Active Secret Security Clearance
Contingent upon award; expected to begin in January 2026
Compensation will be determined based on several factors including relevant experience education skills certifications and market conditions with an expected range of $145000 to $165000
