Are you passionate about building systems and automation We are seeking a BMS Manager to supervise the commissioning operation optimization and continuous improvement of our Building Management Systems at LEGO Manufacturing Virginia.

Job Description

  • The BMS Manager is responsible for the initiation management improvement and ongoing advancement of all building automation systems across LEGO Manufacturing Virginia.
  • This role ensures reliable efficient and data-driven performance of all environmental and utility systems securing optimal conditions for production and facility operations.
  • The individual in the BMS Manager role plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational reliability sustainabilityperformance and technical integration across HVAC utilities lighting and energy systems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning operations and optimization of the Building Management System (BMS) for all site facilities.
  • Ensure integration of BMS with utilities HVAC lighting and energy systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor analyze and report system performance and driving improvements where possible.
  • Lead vendor and partner delivery of BMS services against SLAs and LEGO standards.
  • Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives through sophisticated system controls.
  • Communicate and report technical findings clearly and optimally.

Engineering Design & Sustainability is part of Global Workplace Projects where we are responsible for large scale construction projects and other utility-related projects. ED&S is responsible for the technical aspects e.g. supply concepts MEP disciplines building management systems and fire safety. We develop maintain and innovate our global standards and apply them to projects worldwide. The team consists of 30 people (mainly engineers) with a broad diversity in functional fields and experience. While the team supports both operations and projects at all sites globally this position will have a heavy focus on operability.

Do you have what it takes

  • Bachelors or masters degree or equivalent experience in mechanical electrical engineering or automation engineering is preferred.
  • Significant experience with building management systems in industrial or large-scale facilities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Meticulous proactive and committed to operational excellence.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders vendors and multi-functional collaboration.
  • Pragmatic and goal-oriented attitude with passion for hard-working building technology.
  • Proven success working in global cross-disciplinary environments.
  • Familiar with BMS design industrial installations and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Digitally fluent with comfort in data analytics trend visualization and metrics tracking.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day operations with long-term development and innovation.

Additional

Travel: International travel will be required for this position (10%)

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $100799.00 - $151199.00 based on anticipated responsibilities market benchmarks and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to prior experience skills expertise location internal equity and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details inclusive of benefits will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
