General Description
Responsible for managing and coordinating on-site construction and installation activities ensuring safe timely and high-quality execution within budget. Leads teams supervises subcontractors and enforces compliance with project plans and safety regulations. As seniority grows the role expands to strategic site leadership and stakeholder management.
As Site Manager your main functions/tasks will be:
- Define the installation plan of the project.
- Organization of all activities related to the works on site phase.
- Ensure the execution of the work according to the sequence defined in the planning.
- Advise and participate in the Budget process of the execution phase and hiring of subcontractors.
- Budget control for all activities related to the installation phase
- Coordinate execution times with the client and subcontractors.
- Lead and manage the interaction of jobs on the site..
- Delegate responsibility for installation to suppliers/partners.
- Optimum preparation for the commissioning phase of the installation.
- Commissioning support during the testing phase.
- Logistics organization of the teams on site.
- Creation and management of site documentation and reporting of site management plans.
- Management and control of internal processes.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements.
How should your profile be
- Advanced vocational education in a technical specialty such as Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering or Technician
- Minimum 2 years previous experience as Site Manager
- Basic knowledge of 2D/3D CAD programs (Autocad Solidworks etc.).
- Knowledge of MS Office programs
- Preferable experience in automated warehouses airport and/or in the logistics sector
- Strong communication skills and a creative approach to building professional relationships with clients.
- Ability to work within an international work environment especially working within a project organization
- Fluency in English and French (minimum B2 level) both verbal and written. Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish Italian or German will be considered an asset
- Availability to travel internationally for extended periods and willingness to be on-site up to 90% of the time.
