Primary Responsibilities
Inspect components and assembled parts before and after testing.
Read and understand technical and test instructions.
Interpret drawings and technical data packages.
Perform internal AS9100 audits.
Write non-conformance reports and initiate root cause investigations.
Lead or participate in 5S activities.
Instruct technicians on proper installation assembly and technical practices.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma/GED with 58 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
Experience in testing and quality inspections.
Experience leading operations or teams to complete tasks.
Ability to solve complex problems collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with multiple levels of management.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and test plans.
Knowledge of standard test and inspection equipment.
Must have IPC certification.
Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
Ability to complete handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
Willingness to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville / North Alabama area.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
IPC or J-STD certification.
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
Previous auditing experience.
Electronic component testing experience.
