Job Summary

DirectViz Solutions is a high-level strategic consulting services firm that meets mission IT needs for government clients. We are looking to hire a Senior Database Analyst/Programmer for a new 5 year contract in Huntsville AL. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Job Description:

The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for the design implementation and maintenance of complex databases with respect to JCL access methods access time device allocation validation checks organization protection and security documentation and statistical methods. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries overall monitoring of standards and procedures and integration of systems through database design. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management.

Requirements: Windows/Linus/Unix server environments MS SQL Oracle SQL. Disaster recovery and contingency planning

Certifications: Security CE and Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) MCSA or MCSE

Education: MA/MS degree with 10 yrs. experience or BA/BS degree with w/12 yrs. experience
