- 3:30 PM 11:30 PM(Evening)
- 10 PM - 8 AM (Nights)
- 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (Days)
Hours: 40 hours/week 8 hours/day 5 days/week
On-Call: Not Required
Weekly Gross Pay: $4318/week
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care within a busy hospital environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge precision in medication dispensing and the ability to support a wide range of specialty units. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to offer evidence-based pharmacokinetic and therapeutic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately prepare dispense and review medications in accordance with regulatory standards.
Support patient care teams by providing pharmacokinetic therapeutic and evidence-based consultations.
Participate in medication formulary management and ensure appropriate use of pharmaceuticals.
Prepare chemotherapy and handle hazardous medications safely and compliantly.
Float across multiple specialty units as needed to support department operations.
Provide patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
Requirements
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
Minimum 2 years of licensed Pharmacist experience in a clinical or hospital setting (required).
High accuracy and speed in medication dispensing.
Strong understanding of medication formulary and clinical processes.
Ability to provide pharmacokinetic and therapeutic guidance.
Excellent communication and patient-facing skills.
Competency in Chemotherapy Preparation.
Comfortable working across various specialty units.
