Role: Lead Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities
- Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor and document residents nutritional status and progress.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents families and staff.
- Assists Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting training and scheduling of Registered Dietitians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents overall health and well-being.
- Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as required by the applicable state.
- Bachelors degree in Nutrition Dietetics or a related field is required; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with residents families and staff.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
- Must be able to read and interpret dining service cost reports financial data etc.
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as required by State Local and/or Customers.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds stand sit bend and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Residency within the service area is required.
