Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our team in Basel Switzerland. This role will focus on managing complex application carve-out projects within our pharmaceutical organization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in IT project management a deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and a proven track record of successful application migrations.
- Lead and oversee large-scale IT projects specifically focusing on application carve-outs in the pharmaceutical sector
- Develop and maintain project plans timelines and budgets ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify assess and mitigate project risks implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during application carve-outs
- Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and IT best practices throughout all project phases
- Continuously improve project management methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field with 7 years of IT project management experience focusing on application carve-out projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall) and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project and Jira
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects in a pharmaceutical environment with in-depth understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills including ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and experience in vendor management
- Solid understanding of IT systems and applications used in the pharmaceutical industry
- PMP or Prince2 certification preferred
- Fluency in English
