Responsibilities
Position Purpose: We are looking for a Sr. Web Developer to join our Websites Development team. The Websites Development team is responsible for the client facing marketing websites. You will be working as part of a scrum team focused on high quality deliverables to meet the business requirements for front end development. We need a developer who can help maintain legacy software while working on migration to new system(s) being able to multitask and be flexible in the day to day tasks is a must.
Primary duties will include:
- You will work in a scrum team located in Kraków and New Jersey
- You will work closely with the marketing team to identify new enhancements to the site and then see those enhancements through to completion;work on maintaining and improving our existing Marketing Websites.
- You will work closely with the design team to build out new modules as well as update existing modules for use in new brands.
- We build our platform with quality in mind so you will work closely with QA to ensure that all changes are properly understood testable and automated where it is sensible.
- You will also work to ensure that the site components are performant against modern benchmarks such as Core Web Vitals.
- You will handle a change from start to finish and ensure the delivered solution is of high quality and in line with company development practices troubleshooting complex issues and provide time sensitive solutions.
- Active role in the entire sprint process from estimation and design to feature rollout and you will work with and pair with other members of the team of all disciplines BA QA and other developers.
- You will be expected to maintain a high level of conduct ethical standards and values as well as maintain an appropriate level of competence through ongoing training making requests for updates or development as required.
Qualifications
To land this role you will need:
- 5-7 years of experience in web application development.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Expertise in HTML5 JavaScript (ES6) CSS and one of the following pre-processors: SCSS SASS LESS (CSS preprocessors).
- Experience working with Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS (Utility-first CSS framework).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket or GitHub) and CI/CD workflows/actions.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. Jest React Testing Library).
- Familiarity with Storybook for UI component development.
- Experience working in a monorepo environment.
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack Vite or Turborepo.
- Experience working in agile environment (Scrum Kanban).
- Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals (LCP FID CLS) performance metrics and how to improve them for better user experience.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with server-side rendering (SSR) static site generation (SSG) and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) use cases in .
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for modern web applications and how to implement SEO-friendly features (e.g. meta tags structured data schema and SEO optimization for performance).
- Basic understanding of security concepts like API authentication/authorization encryption and Windows certificates.
- Familiarity with headless CMSs (e.g. ).
