Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Lawyer with 35 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and a proven ability to manage files independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of litigation matters from start to finish including drafting pleadings conducting questionings and appearing in court.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
- 35 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Strong research drafting and advocacy skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
