Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at our 3108 S Kingshighway location in St. Louis United States. As an Assistant Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations team leadership and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving sales targets
- Lead motivate and train team members to maintain high performance standards
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage inventory including ordering receiving and organizing stock
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
- Create and adjust employee schedules to optimize staffing levels
- Assist in hiring training and evaluating team members
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Analyze sales data and make recommendations for improvement
- Handle cash management and daily financial reporting
Qualifications :
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on creating positive experiences
- Proficient in time management and multitasking
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
- Previous retail or customer service experience required
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices a plus
