We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In care assistant to join our team in Doncaster United Kingdom. As a Live In care assistant you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality person-centred care to individuals in their own homes enhancing their quality of life and supporting their independence.
- Deliver personalised care and support including assistance with daily living activities personal care and medication administration
- Provide emotional support companionship and help with light housekeeping tasks
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the clients condition
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications :
- Genuine caring nature and commitment to improving the lives of others
- Previous experience in caregiving is advantageous but full training will be provided
- Valid full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours and commit to a live-in schedule
- Willingness to undertake Live-In assignments away from home
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness to assist with daily tasks and mobility support
- Patience empathy and understanding towards clients needs
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and client needs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
