Built Asset Security Advisor

Turner and Townsend are actively recruiting for a Built Asset Security Advisor to work with our Real Estate Advisory team UK. If you a security professional with a passion for working on the worlds most impactful programmes a Built Asset Security Advisor role may be just for you.  

We are looking for experienced individuals with a range of skills across cyber security in the built environment physical security supply chain security and security delivery to join us in our growing Built Asset Security team. 

As a Built Asset Security Advisor you will be advising clients architects engineers suppliers and project managers on the best approaches to manage security risk in capital programmes across a range of sectors including life sciences defence datacentre and infrastructure. 

Responsibilities 

• Review the security elements of capital programmes to ensure design meets the clients requirement. 
• Define document and assure security elements throughout the delivery lifecycle. 
• Review and assure architecture design and implementation to identify threats & risks. 
• Offer clear structured guidance and advice to strengthen security. 
• Take part in design assurance sessions to identify manage and mitigate security risks.  

Qualifications :

Essential Skills 

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable business language for communications with key stakeholders 

• Experience as a subject matter expert within major projects/programmes  

• Demonstrable security experience or security qualifications applicable to your area of expertise 

Desirable Skills 

• Understanding of the RIBA plan of work and the delivery of security within the built environment 

• A UK Government security clearance or ability to become security cleared

• Experience in one of Turner & Townsends key sectors - Sectors Turner & Townsend
