Job Summary
Currently seeking a 1:1 Aide for Francis of Paola ELC located in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

Role Description:
- Part Time Monday-Friday
- Hours (range): 8:30A.M-2:00 P.M
- Non benefit role
- 10 month program with 30 day summer session
- Responsibilities include:
- Under the direction of the Teacher/ Behavior Trainer follow the daily activity schedule/lesson plans and support and guide the implementation of a students objectives as indicated in his/her IEP.
- Provide direct care services to student as needed including toileting dressing and feeding in an instructional manner so as to provide the basis of future independent student action.
- Participate in the arrival and dismissal of student as needed.
- Participate in activities outside the classroom when necessary (e.g. playground field trips gym etc.); interact with the student; and address the students safety and physical needs.
- Understand the nature of the students disability and its impact on the students performance; be familiar with the students IEP objectives including the educational purpose and methodology; be familiar with the students medical alerts and EPOP (Enhanced Protective Oversight Plan)

Qualifications :
Position Requirements:
- Candidates with experience working with students with disabilities are preferred.
- HS Diploma required.
