About the Role

St Vincents Hospital Melbourne is seeking a number of passionate and experienced registered nurses to join the Nurse Workforce Units Casual Nurse Bank team to work casual shifts within our Cardiac Cath Lab.

About theCardiac Cath Lab

The Cardiac Catheterisation Lab at St Vincents Hospital Melbourne provides exceptional diagnostic and interventional care for patients with heart conditions. As a leading centre for cardiac care SVHM specialises in a range of procedures including coronary angiograms angioplasty pacing procedures and structural heart interventions.

Our highly skilled team of cardiologists nurses and technicians work collaboratively to accurately diagnose and treat heart disease. The cardiac cath lab is an integral part of our comprehensive heart services offering both emergency and elective procedures with a focus on improving the quality of life of our patients. We are committed to providing compassionate patient-centred care in a safe and supportive environment.

About the Position

We are looking for nurses with cardiac cath lab experience for a casual role. Shifts are available based on supplementary staffing demand. Working in a dynamic fast-paced setting you will be required to use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan coordinate and evaluate the care needs of cardiac will require excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely withinafriendly and supportive team environment.

Classifications for the RN position will range from ZU3 - ZU11 ($67527.2 - $95378.40 per annum) pro rata.

As an experienced motivated and passionatecath lab nurseyou will bring demonstrated knowledge and commitment to a patient-centred care framework. Your excellent communication time management and prioritisation skills will allow you to facilitate team outcomes in a multidisciplinary environment.

About You

  • Minimum 1 year experience specifically in cardiac cath lab nursing is essential.
  • Post graduatecardiac critical care certificate is desirablebut not essential.
  • Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain.
  • Current National Disability Insurance Scheme check or willing toobtain.
  • Current condition free registration with AHPRA.
