Job Summary
Position Title: Neuro ICU RN
Location: Ocala FL
Position Type: Permanent Full Time
Shift: Nights Rotating Weekends
Unit: Neuro ICU 10 beds
Salary Range: $30.60$44.90/hr
Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr Nights $3.00/hr Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $15000 Nights $10000 Days
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time role in Ocala FL. The RN will provide critical care to neurological and trauma patients within a 323-bed Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess plan and deliver safe patient-centered care for high-acuity neuro patients
Perform and document clinical interventions per provider orders
Monitor neurological status and respond promptly to condition changes
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and follow-up care
Advocate for patients through a holistic supportive care approach
Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year recent Acute Care RN experience (within last 3 years)
Higher acuity than Med/Surg preferred; strong M/S candidates considered
Active Florida RN License (or Compact must convert within 60 days)
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) Within 30 days
ACLS Within 90 days
Strong motivation to learn and provide exceptional outcomes
