Job Summary

BI / Data Analyst Support (min. 3 months starting ASAP)

We are seeking immediate support for at least 3 months from an experienced BI / Data Analyst to strengthen our data and analytics capabilities.

In this role you will take ownership of our data model drive reporting excellence and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to turn data into meaningful business insights.

Location: Remote candidates have to be based in the European Union

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and enhance our data model to ensure it meets stakeholder needs in scope accuracy and performance. You will own the full data workflow from ingestion into the data warehouse to the semantic layer.
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements strategic priorities and vision translating them into actionable insights.
  3. Refine challenge and support stakeholder requests and create or adapt reports accordingly.#
  4. Develop company-wide reporting standards and guidelines to empower business users to perform basic reporting independently.
  5. Explore and analyse raw data from various source systems to inform data model decisions and detect anomalies or inconsistencies.
  6. Identify and specify future analytical needs and required data points resulting from new features business changes or processes.
  7. Work cross-functionally with Data Engineers Data Scientists and other teams to ensure alignment and high-quality deliverables.

Your Qualifications:

  1. Several years of professional experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst with proven expertise in creating dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar tools.
  2. Strong experience in data modelling.
  3. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Git
  4. E-commerce data experience would add a lot of value
  5. A high degree of passion for data strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  6. A Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science Physics Mathematics Engineering Economics) is a strong plus.
  7. Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage
