Job Summary
Internal Medicine Physician Outpatient Only
Location: Los Angeles CA 90015
Pay: $100$125/hour Part-Time (12 days/week)
PSLF-Eligible Employer Site
A mission-driven community health center in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient care to underserved patients. This role focuses on multi-generational primary care in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment with support from dental mental health and social work services.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Primary Care Provider (PCP) for assigned patients
Conduct medical evaluations including history physical exams labs and diagnostics
Develop treatment plans and initiate appropriate orders/procedures
Educate and counsel patients on health promotion and disease prevention
Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
California medical license and current DEA
CPR certification required
EMR experience required
English proficiency; medical Spanish preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Provide high-quality outpatient-focused care in Los Angeles CA 90015 while making a meaningful impact on the health of underserved communities.
