Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A Shipping Associateto handle daily transportation loading activities and shipment coordination. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license strong attention to detail and experience in shipping receiving and freight handling.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailerto transport goods between company locations distribution centers and customer sites
- Perform loading and unloadingusing forklifts pallet jacks and dock equipment
- Verify shipment accuracy inspect freight and complete all required shipping documentation
- Maintain accurate logs bills of lading and delivery receipts
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report mechanical issues
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery schedules
- Follow all DOT safety and company compliance procedures
- Maintain a clean organized and safe shipping/receiving area
- Transport locations:Ca NV AZ
- Schedule:MondayFriday
- Pay:$30.00 -34.00/hour Benefits
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class Alicense (required)
- Clean driving record; ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 35 yearsof Class A driving or shipping/transportation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbson a regular basis
- Experience with forklifts pallet jacks and dock equipment
- Knowledge of shipping documentation freight organization and warehouse operations
- Strong communication and time-management skills
