Job Position: Infusion Nurse
Location: Hazelwood MO
Duration: 3 months with possibility of conversion/extension
Shift: M- F 8a- 4:30p
Education:
- Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology.
OR
High School/G.E.D. AND successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography technical training program.
Skills::
- Must have IV experience - position entails starting 20-30 IVs/weekly.
- This is a slower clinic - but MAY float to West County or South County clinics.
- If floating is required - it will be scheduled ahead of time.
- ASAP start.

Responsibilities:
- Provides direct outpatient care to patients undergoing IV infusions.
- Monitors patients closely for adverse effects.
- Provides accurate and complete patient documentation in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates safe work habits and is knowledgeable of all related requirements and practices relative to his/her job assignment.
- Observes professional service commitments; participates in quality management initiatives as assigned.
- Has excellent communication skills and is detail oriented.
