This role requires the skills of a traditional linear broadcastanchor with an affinity or interest in breaking and developing news. It will be delivered exclusively to customers with connected televisions and apps. Responsibilities:
Anchor multiplelivestreams daily.
Generate unique and compelling stories and show ideas around topicsimpactingour country.
Take a leadership role in content and production.
Collaborate with producers reporters photojournalists managers and otherTEGNAteam members.
Edit together video specials/re-racked content that will work for VOD purposes.
Regularly explorenew ideasfollowing careful discussions with supervisors.
Challenge the traditional way of doing things.

Requirements:
At least5years of reporting and anchoring experience.
Strong on-camera delivery with the ability to ad-lib.
Strong leadership qualities with prior experience motivatingengagingand recognizing team members on multiple projects.
The ability to coach and collaborate with teammates on content projects.
Sound news judgment and a proventrack recordofrecognizing enterprise content.
Experience usingENPS and desktop video editing software such asEdius strongly preferred.
Desire to live and work in-person inCharlotte North Carolina.
