Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingManager of Cardiovascular Servicesfor an exciting opportunity inAustin TX.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of cardiology experience with 23 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- BCLS/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)/ALS certification within 30 days of hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical technical and operational functions within Cardiovascular Services departments.
- Provide leadership call coverage for the Cath Lab.
- Manage Cardiac Day Recovery Cardiopulmonary Rehab Echo Lab and EKG physician reads.
- Ensure efficient and compliant resource utilization and regulatory compliance (JCAHO state federal).
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and workflow audits.
- Collaborate with hospital administration cardiology directors and physicians to plan and direct cardiovascular services including 24/7 Cath Lab and Echo coverage.
- Conduct daily rounds adjust staffing based on patient volume and serve as liaison between the department and internal/external stakeholders.
