Job Summary
The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs & Workforce Alignment provides leadership and has responsibility in the areas of strategic alignment of academic programs and workforce needs oversight of the TBR Center for Apprenticeship coordination with the TBR Center for Workforce Development support of TCAT and community college work in grants and ad hoc assignments as determined by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
This position leads system-level workgroups such as prior learning assessment rural healthcare support for state funding priorities; institutional and programmatic accreditation; leadership in grant activities at the system level; and coordination with internal and external partners.
The Assistant Vice Chancellor demonstrates a personal commitment with assistance from TBR leaders to devote time to growing and developing as a leader and a colleague.
The salary for this position is $99612 - $126829 depending on experience.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree from a Regionally Accredited Institution
Five (5) years of higher education experience including full-time teaching and/or administrative experience or related workforce experience
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative experience in higher education or workforce development
Experience in academic and strategic planning program and policy development and leadership
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong leadership and strategic visioning abilities
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment with peers including other administrators and faculty
Professional written oral communication and presentation skills
Strong entrepreneurial skills
Experience in strategic planning
Experience in academic planning program and policy development and leadership
