You will be the cornerstone of our residents daily well-being and joy. Your primary mission is to provide personalized dignified direct care and supervision while always promoting resident choice independence and satisfaction. You will work hand-in-hand with our team to create a warm supportive and safe environment where every resident can thrive.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Administer medication to our residents accurately recording in the EMAR monitoring residents for adverse effects and maintain proper medication storage and safety.
  • Serve as the Lead on the shift and work withCNAs as they provide residents help with activities of daily living (ADLs) always looking for opportunities to coach CNAs to offer choices and encourage them to help residents maintain as much independence and personal control as possible.

  • Adhere to protocols and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of every resident performing essential duties like proper lifting techniques and universal precautions with care and precision.

  • Your role extends far passing medications! You will lead by example in encouragingparticipation in enriching activities and programs and dedicate time for meaningful one-on-one interactions that brighten a residents day.

  • Tune into the subtle cues of our residentsmonitoring their mood food intake and functional status. Document any changes meticulously and communicate with urgency and clarity to the care team ensuring their needs are met swiftly.

  • Function as a true team leader offering support to colleagues when the need arises. Help maintain the beautiful clean environment our residents call homefrom their personal spaces to the welcoming common areasalways removing soiled items immediately to ensure a fresh healthy atmosphere.

  • Act immediately and decisively on any resident crisis or emergency relying on your training and innate caregiving instincts to provide prompt comfort and aid.

  • Foster positive respectful communication among staff residents and families building a network of trust that supports our entire community.

We are seeking individuals who are not only skilled but are also driven by a genuine desire to serve.

  • Heart-Ready: Must be at least 18 years of age with a clean criminal background check.

  • Prepared to Protect: Hold or obtain current certification in emergency first aid and CPR.

  • A Healthy Foundation: Must complete a pre-employment physical examination and tuberculosis screening to ensure fitness for the role.

  • Physical Strength Gentle Touch: The ability to bend lift carry and move residents demonstrating the strength necessary to provide safe resident transfers and support.

  • Dedicated to Growth: A commitment to completing necessary training in areas like emergency procedures residents rights infection control and dementia care and obtaining required annual continuing education hours.

  • Clear Communication: The ability to read comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence and to speak effectively to residents families and staff.

  • A Flexible Spirit: Willingness to work various schedules and shifts as needed to ensure our residents always have the support they deserve.
