Job Summary
Position Title: Manager RN Labor & Delivery
Location: Houston TX
Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Shift: Nights 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (5 shifts/week weekends as needed)
Salary Range: $45/hr $56/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager for a full-time leadership role in Houston TX. The Manager oversees clinical operations staffing and patient care within a high-volume 1520 bed L&D unit delivering 800 births monthly supporting maternal safety staff development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee clinical care delivery and ensure high-quality patient experience
Mentor evaluate and educate nursing staff
Lead performance improvement and compliance initiatives
Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and resource planning
Maintain readiness for high-acuity maternal and neonatal care
Serve as a clinical resource promoting evidence-based practice
Communicate unit goals and performance updates to leadership
Required Qualifications
35 years recent Acute Care L&D leadership experience (required)
Active Texas RN license
Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Certifications:
BLS Required
NRP Within 6 months
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Within 6 months
ACLS Preferred
Strong background in L&D OR PACU ICU or High-Risk OB
