Our client a prominent AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a talented Bankruptcy & Creditors Rights junior Associate Attorney to join their established Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners on sophisticated restructuring insolvency and commercial litigation matters in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Florida in good standing
- 13 years of substantivebankruptcy and creditors rights experience or judicial clerkship experience with a bankruptcy judge
- Demonstratedexperience in commercial litigation including supporting complex disputes
- Proven legal research and writing ability with exceptional analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and work independently on client matters
- Highly motivated proactive and committed to delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Support creditors rights and bankruptcy litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Draft pleadings motions briefs and supporting legal memoranda
- Assist with all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings including Chapter 11 matters and adversary proceedings
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex bankruptcy and restructuring issues
- Participate in court hearings case strategy discussions and client updates
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys while managing responsibilities efficiently and professionally

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $155000-$165000 as determined by experience and market factors
