Description
Heritage Christian Academy a growing K-12 Christian school in the Kansas City metro area is seeking qualified candidates for an elementary position. Heritage provides a Christ-centered education with academic excellence within a caring Christian community on two campuses in South Johnson County.
Ideal candidates will have:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver lessons clearly and effectively
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Accurately record attendance and complete required daily documentation
- Communicate proactively and collaboratively with administrators teachers and staff as needed
- Participate in required professional development or training sessions as provided
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by school administration

Requirements
The candidate should reflect the following characteristics:
- A strong Christian testimony with a mature and godly character
- Exemplary Christian virtue both in and outside of school
- Commitment to regular church attendance in alignment with the Statement of Faith
- Education: BA/BS in Education
- Current ACSI certification or the ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe
