The Role
Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their technical team. Reporting to the Software Development Manager you will support the design development and maintenance of software solutions used by large financial organisations worldwide.
Location: Hybrid - Mosta
Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Developer your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to different stages of the software development lifecycle
Work across design development maintenance and quality assurance functions
Collaborate with Business Analysts Project Managers and other internal teams to support project delivery
Stay updated with new technologies and development practices
Carry out additional tasks as required by the team
Requirements:
- A degree in ICT or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
One to two years of hands on software development experience
Strong working knowledge of Git Gradle or Maven and JSON
Experience working with microservices based architecture
Solid experience with Java Spring RESTful services JavaScript ES6 plus HTML5 CSS and a modern JavaScript framework such as
Understanding of UX principles and how they apply to web applications
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Ability to identify and resolve browser specific issues
Strong understanding of database systems ideally Oracle or Postgres
