Job Summary
A thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an organised technically confident and customer-focused IT Technician to join their ICT Support Team. This full-time permanent role begins January 2026 supporting the schools staff and students with day-to-day ICT operations.

Responsibilities
Providing frontline technical support for hardware software and network issues
Maintaining devices including desktops laptops tablets and classroom IT
Supporting interactive boards projectors and AV equipment
Troubleshooting connectivity user accounts and permissions
Assisting with system updates installations and ICT development projects
Documenting support issues and contributing to efficient helpdesk management
Supporting whole-school digital initiatives and technical rollouts
Experience & Qualifications
IT support experience (school experience beneficial but not essential)
Knowledge of Windows Microsoft 365 networks and device maintenance
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
Relevant IT qualifications (CompTIA Cisco Microsoft) desirable
