Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious creative and forward-thinking DT Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Oxford. This full-time permanent role begins January 2026 and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic well-supported department.

About the Role

Teaching DT across KS3KS4 (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
Delivering practical and theoretical lessons that inspire creative thinking
Supporting design portfolios prototypes and coursework
Contributing to school-wide design challenges and STEM initiatives
Helping develop innovative curriculum resources and teaching strategies
Promoting safe workshop practice and high technical standards

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in DT Engineering or Product Design
PGCE with QTS
Strong technical understanding and workshop confidence
Ability to inspire students of all abilities
