Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated innovative and practical Design Technology ECT to join an Outstanding school in Huntingdon. As a Design Technology Teacher you will deliver engaging hands-on learning across KS3 KS4 and KS5 helping students to develop strong technical skills creativity and problem-solving abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified DT Teacher to begin their career within a highly supportive and well-resourced environment.
You will work within a successful DT department with modern workshops full technician support and strong leadership. The department is well known for excellent student engagement and strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Design Technology or related subject
PGCE with QTS
Training to teach DT to KS3 KS4 and ideally KS5
Strong practical skills and commitment to safe workshop practice
Enthusiasm for creative project-based learning
Salary
The salary for this Design Technology ECT position will be paid to scale in line with MPS1.
